ThunderFace converts the DisplayPort output of the computer directly to the SDI signal, without internal buffering. In this mode, SDI outputs are limited to the same frequency, but video output is delivered with the lowest possible delay.
Using high-resolution DisplayPort output from the Mac running QTAKE Video Assist software, ThunderFace device can deliver eight separate HD or two Ultra HD outputs in perfect sync, using 3G-SDI and 12G-SDI standards.
ThunderFace device connects to your Mac using a single cable which provides video, audio, and control data transfer. Additionally, in case of MacBook Pro, it also charges your computer with a 60W power delivery standard.
